Coronavirus Updates

Our Hospital is Open With Precautions in Place to Keep You & Your Pets Safe

As part of your family’s trusted healthcare team we are remaining open to serve your pets, but with significant modifications made to our operations to minimize contact and risk of spreading the Coronavirus.

A Special Message From Dr. Henry Regarding COVID-19

Increased Precautions:

As always, having a clean hospital is a priority. However, we have ramped up the regular sanitizing of all touched areas including doorknobs, computer terminals, and workspaces. We are practicing good hygiene with frequent hand washing and having employees stay home if they show any signs of illness. Other precautions include:

  • Practicing strict social distancing by spreading out appointments to reduce the amount of people in the hospital at one time, limiting contact (no handshakes), and setting up barriers in the lobby so that there is more distance between staff and clients.
  • Asking anyone who is actively sick, showing symptoms of COVID-19, or anyone who has been exposed to COVID-19 to stay at home and call us. We can arrange for medication purchases to be brought to your car or assist with orders from our online pharmacy.
  • Conducting pet exams with owners present. Please call us at 417-739-4090 when you arrive and a member of our staff will let you know when the lobby is clear to come in.

We are here to serve our community and to help your animal companions stay healthy. As you know, pets are wonderful stress-relievers at times like these and we want to make sure we do all we can to assist safely during these challenging times.

This is a dynamic situation and these policies can be subject to change at any time as the situation with the COVID-19 pandemic progresses. We will be sure to keep you updated on any additional disruptions or changes to our hospital operations.

Please don’t hesitate to call us at 417-739-4090 if you have questions or need assistance for your pet in any way. Thank you for your patience and cooperation and stay well.
